At the 92nd Annual Convention of the Marine Corps League Department of New York, the charter for the Empire Leathernecks Detachment #1493 was presented and was signed by Department Commandant Thomas Arcuri. The Charter had been previously signed by National Commandant Johnny Baker, Corporate Secretary Warren Griffin, and Northeast Division Vice Commandant Michael Waluk.
With members of the Department of New York in witness of the presentation, the charter was then signed by the Detachment members present.
